For my first project, my class had to go all the way to Taman Botanic Putrajaya. This is due to the fact that we had to observe the natural and built environments that were around us and sketch the neccessary objects out. This project's purpose is mainly to let us know what exactly is "the elements of design". We were required to sketch out 11 artworks based on the design principles learned in class, which was written down in the brief. All in all, I learned that design principles are essential in architecture and also in design as it acts as a guideline to proceed with models, or any artworks in general in the future. Also, I opened my eyes to a lot of new plants when I was in the park and it felt really therapeutic.
