For my first ever assignment of effective public communication, my class were assigned to demonstrate the principles of communication and behavious in analyzing interaction with others, both at individual and at group levels. By doing so, each group needs to create an online photo blog that will later be assessed by our lecturer. Not only will the photo blog be assessed, but each group will need to present the blog in front the whole class for their presentation skills to be graded. My group consists of 5 people which were Teo Vi Vien, Hirendran Sivaganam, Zi Zhao Choo, and Nigel Tan. Our lecturer, Ms Thivilojana briefed us about a photo blog we would have to create by actually visiting places. This was such an exciting assignment since it gives us the chance to travel to some where and take photos of what's relevant to the assignment.

Our selected place to visit was Stadhuys, Malacca. We all met up at about 8 in the morning in campus the morning before we departed to Malacca. It was fun because it seemed like a field trip with friends rather than a trip for project purposes only. When we arrived at Stadhuys, we first had our lunch which was Malacca's famous mouth watering chicken rice ball. It was only after lunch that we started roaming around Stadhuys, taking photos of what's relevant.

In a nutshell, this assignment really opened my eyes to new surrounding since it really has been a long time since I have stepped foot in Malacca. Admiring the people and also the olden-day architecture there was really therepeutic in a way, and I definitely enjoyed most of my time there. Also, I wouldn't ever ask for better group mates than these 4 people whom I grew closer with due to this assignment. Not only did this assignment made me feel rather grateful of what is around me, but it also made me feel ecstatic to have friends like these.

Just a photo of Vivien and I, trying to look cool with our new animal hats.

Whilst chilling by the stair case, a we-fie was mandatory.

A selfie of myself with new racoon animal hat.
