Basically for my final project for Culture & Civilization, my class is suppose to explore the inner photographer in ourselves and compile the photos we took in one a5 coffee table book. We were asked to photograph photos based on either 4 themes which is spaces & people, fusion architecture, Malaysian architecture and religious places.

As for me, I chose spaces & people as my theme. Unfortunately I did not go with the initial venue that I was supposed to base my coffee table book on and so in the end I went with Changkat Bukit Bintang. Click my progress link to see how I slowly shifted venues and how I created my coffee table book.

The video below is a video montage of the best 10 photographs that I took throughout this whole project 3.

All in all, this project made me gain a lot of knowledge on softwares. Before this final project, I was clueless on how to work Adobe Lightrom and Adobe InDesign. But thanks to one of my friend from Mass Communication, I got to learn the basics in order for me to bring my coffee table book to life. I am most definitely grateful for my group of friend's too who introducec me to a good and cheap place to print our coffee table book. Spent less than RM50 (inclusive of x1 test printing, x2 reprint of the official book). What a good bargain! I also would like to thank my lecturer Miss Ida for allowing us to explore less on craft works and more on electronic work. This is definitely a subject that balances communication, crafting and electronic-using.

It was fun while this subject lasted in my semester 2. Definitely earned its spot in my most favorite subject in FNBE!
